A wonderful event to celebrate the art work of Ranadeep...

It was also Diwali day so we celebrated Diwali also with all the dances and tunes. 

The playlist was based on the work of Anoushka Shankar, Karsh Kale, Ceb I Sabbah, Jodah Akbar, Perm Joshua, Indian Ocean, 

Sara Tavares and Zolani Mahola sings @ Inspiration Island

We had a wonderfully colorful event with Particle Tom and Lexi playing particles for us.

Sunvibes Workshop Opening Sat - 20sept2014

The workshop is a creative project that encourages SL-ers to get creative, build, make music, start a club, try DJing, or any other creative form they might fancy.

As part of the project we are busy creating a resource center that offers free and full perm materials ( textures, scripts, fractals, objects ) and compiles useful info to help you get started with building, creating.

I spent the week gathering most info that helped me to learn SL Skills - freely available textures and texture organizers, scripts, free and full perm objects, tutorials, fractals and more .. its not at all complete but it is already a great resource - so if you are into building - check it out :)

 After an initial chat about open content, ubuntu, and ways of sharing - we checked out the center.

The World Sings Marley - 8sept2014 @ AfricaLIVE

Bob Marley is really close to my heart and his songs have been like a Bible as I have been traveling around. I am sure many of you know his songs - Buffalo Soldier, Positive VIbrations, Natural Mystic, Turn your lights down low and many more.

We listening to Gilberto Gil, Richard Bona, Eric Clapton, Tracy Chapman, Amazigh Kateb, Baab Maal, Youssou Ndour and of course Bob himself.

Souljam at the Sea of Cubic Dreams (6sept2014)

It was a special evening that brought back so many fun memories of events we all took part together with Juni, Jana, Efran, Warpy and many more old friends. Its a special feeling to listen to my friends great tunes and enjoy and evening together talking about all the fun we have had so far ... and making plans for new ones :)

Hopefully we will have more events like this in the future.

Junivers Stockholm

Junivers is a composer.

He worked together with the international team CARP.
(Cybernetic Art Research Project)

Juni made music for The Rings and Emoticon,  (Director Velazquez Bonetto) and other SL productions.

Now and then juni plays live.
He worked with The Imaginals, led by Medora Chevalier (choreographer & lyricist)
performing "Follow the Light" and "The Dance of Life".

Juni plays almost only his own original music.
He mostly uses backtracks in which he has composed and played/programmed all instruments.
junivers has made several collaborations with Jana Kyomoon.

MoShang Zhao

MoShang is a sound jeweler living in Taiwan.

He collects rough audio diamonds from the streets of Taiwan
(be they overheard conversations, street-ads blared from the ubiquitous blue-trucks, street processions or funeral chants)
and fuses them with traditional Chinese instruments and laid-back beats
to create a unique blend of
downtempo electronica he likes to call
Chinese Chill.
